THEY ARE THE BEST AMONG THE BEST IN PALILULA!

 The best students, who are studying in educational institutions in the territory of Palilula in Nis, traditionally are presented at the photographs of the Municipal calendar for 2014. This was an occasion to meet them in Christmas and New Year holiday time, in Nis Cultural Center. Palilula Municipality organized "hanging out with the best" and the promotion of this Calendar.
This year, students were photographed by Bratislav Petkovic, a professional art photographer. On the promotion of this year Palilula CALENDAR for 2014 "Best of the best in 2013" in Palilula Municipality, attended the 148 most successful students from 15 educational institutions, schools and colleges, but also their teachers, principals and deans.

MUNICIPALITY OF PALILULA RISES FROM THE UNDEVELOPED CIRCLE
WITH PROJECT ACTIVITIES

 The most important activities of the Municipality of Palilula and the municipal government and the authorities in Palilula in 2013, are application of quality standards in the work of municipal administration, creation of conditions for the project by providing the necessary resources to improve the quality of life for all categories of the population of the municipality, stimulating interest and support for youth organizing; affirmation of entrepreneurship and creating the conditions for new employment; achieved regional cooperation - especially with the cities and municipalities in Bulgaria, savings, responsibility, the fight against crime and system corruption, said the president Boban Džunić, at the annual conference, which was held on 26.12.2013 in Media center Nis.

GREEN INVESTMENTS AND
NEW BUSSINESS TECHNOLOGIES

 Round table and other workshops were held in Ihtiman, Bulgaria, within the framework of the project "Living Green", under the CBC program Bulgaria-Serbia. The leaders of the partner municipalities in the project , Kaloyan Iliev , President of the Bulgarian municipality Ihtiman, and Boban Džunić, president of Palilula Municipality –Nis, have successfully evaluated the past activities of project teams, and recalled that the aim of the project is the "Promotion of sustainable development and strengthening of capacities for joint problem solving and exchange of experience in the field of environmental protection in the region

IT IS IMPORTANT TO RAISE ENVIROMENTAL AWARENESS OF STUDENTS

President of Municipality of Palilula Boban Džunić and Palilula Assembly President Milos Srojković visited a branch of elementary school "Desanka Maksimovic" in Novo Selo, where they, as part of the project "Living Green", that the municipality implemented under IPA cross-border cooperation with the Republic of Bulgaria, planted conifers with students of this educational institution. This project and program activities includes the arrangements of the school yard and the yard space on the territory of Palilula, and involves planting 30 seedlings of coniferous trees in the courtyard of affiliated primary school "Desanka Maksimovic" in Novo Selo.

9th SESSION OF PALILULA
ASSEMBLY IS HELD

 On the 9th regular session of the City Municipality of Palilula, which was held on Tuesday, December 10th, in the hall of NKC, after the adoption of the minutes of the preceding session, the council members discussed and approved the proposal of the decision on the budget Palilula for the year 2014. And this budget, according to Mayor Boban Dzunic, is restrictive and developmental for municipality of Palilula, regardless of significantly reduced funding for the realization of the basic functions, and the municipality must go forward, creating conditions through projects that improve the quality of life of its residents.

WORLD AIDS DAY

 Under the slogan "You should start to believe", organizations and institutions in Nis that mark World AIDS Day, presented information on the number of registered people living with HIV. At a press conference at the Media Centre in Nis, there was a discussion about the activities that marks the World AIDS Day this year in Nis. Media were addressed by prof. Dr. Biljana Kocic, an epidemiologist at the Public Health Institute Niš, president of Municipality of Palilula Boban Džunić, Miroslav Djokic, a member of the Youth Council of the City of Nis, Milos Andjelkovic, president of JAZAS Niš and Sandra Mančić, president of NGO "Sunce" in Niš.
